Goldenfire cover
In Darkhaven, peace doesn’t last long.

Ayla Nightshade has ruled Darkhaven for three years. With the help of Tomas Caraway, her Captain of the Helm, she has overcome her father's legacy to find new confidence in herself and her unusual shapeshifting abilities.

Yet three years ago, a discovery was made that could have profound consequences for the Nightshade line: a weapon exists that can harm even the powerful creatures they turn into. And now, that knowledge has fallen into the wrong hands.

An assassin is coming for Ayla, and will stop at nothing to see her dead.

The cover looks great! What's not so great is that the pre-order link to Amazon for "Goldenfire" says "currently unavailable."

To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting anyone to comment so soon! You may have noticed that the post is dated 3 December, which rather gives the impression that you and I are time travellers. Thursday 3 December is the official cover reveal date; this post is only live now for a rather silly and thoroughly technophobic reason of my own.

Short version: I hope the Amazon.com glitch will be fixed by Thursday, which is when I will also be publicising this post.

I LOVE IT! It's so elegant, and yet really evocative. I was wondering where they'd go with the second cover after the first (which I adore!) and although it's very different, the colours relate them perfectly without them being all 'matchy'! Great cover, fantastic. Can't wait to read it!
