Yep, you read that right: this week it's my turn to recommend some books for the summer. There's not much point me introducing myself on my own blog, but I'll give it a try anyway. Er ... here's me. Take it away, me.

Well, week four of the Summer Reads Blog Tour brings us a dear friend and fellow author, Will Macmillan Jones. Will's the comedic act in our group with his dry sense of humor, I can't help but smile when I read his posts or chat away in a lively conversation. Welcome to Week 3 of the Summer Reads Blog Tour! This week it's Carrie Fetzer's turn, and since Lisa did such a great job of introducing Carrie on her own blog, I'm going to hand straight over to Lisa ...
This week it's our beloved Carrie's turn to share her favorite reads with you. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have her come into my life and support me the way she has. Last November, I half jokingly put it out on the page that I needed a page administrator, and our lovely Carrie messaged me! Not only did she volunteer, but she's run with it wholeheartedly. She's done an amazing job with keeping the conversation going, and filled a huge gap for me when I needed it most. This was supposed to just be a temporary position, but Carrie wanted to stay on! The best part of having her admin my page? She's become a dear friend in the process. I'm lucky to have her come into my life, thankful for all she's done and continues to do. We love you Carrie! Welcome to Week 2 of the Summer Reads Blog Tour! This week, the author sharing her top five summer reads with you is Sam Dogra: writer, artist, doctor, video gamer, beta reader extraordinaire, and author of the excellent Chronicles of Azaria. Over to you, Sam ...
Over the summer, something a little different will be happening here on Thursdays instead of my Barren Island Books interviews. The lovely and talented Lisa Wiedmeier, creator of the Timeless Series, is hosting a Summer Reads Blog Tour in which different authors (including yours truly) share some of their favourite less-known reads. The idea is to introduce readers to books they might not have come across before, so that we can all fill up our to-read lists ready for the summer! Oh, and just to add to the fun, there's also a giveaway :-)
I'm going to reblog each of the tour entries here so that you don't miss anything, and we're starting with the host herself! You can learn more about Lisa on her website and her Facebook page, as well as follow her on Twitter. But for now, here she is with her top five summer picks ... |
