The second week of my blog tour is over! Just one more week to go! Again, I thought I'd summarise a few of the good bits before we continue to the end.
I've had several more great reviews this week!
"I was obsessed with this book from the first page. Deceit, danger, betrayal, and a lot of danger set within a magical realm – Darkhaven has it all!" The Book Cellar
"A book that thoroughly captivated me which when added to solid prose alongside an arc that has a lot of room to grow for future outings, all round gives the reader a thoroughly enjoyable read." Falcata Times
"I fell in love with this world and the characters living in it." Reading... Dreaming
(Complete side note: I'm really fascinated by how reviewers award their stars. Darkhaven has had a lot of four-star reviews - yay! - and these range from incredibly complimentary to really quite critical. Which just goes to show that everyone's obsession with star ratings is a little bit silly. It's the content of the review that counts.)
I was interviewed a lot this week, because that's just how it turned out. As well as my official author interview on the Voyager site, I was interviewed at Authors to Watch, The Qwillery and Jack Heckel's blog. I also had a run-in with a sneaky pirate who was trying to steal my Barren Island Books interview format, but I soon put a stop to that ;-)
This week, you can read my random musings on the following topics:
And there's even a guest post from one of my characters!
Next week is going to be a little different, because instead of guest posts about myself or my work (which I daresay everyone is fed up with by now) I'm mainly going to be recommending other people's books. So look out for my Top Five posts!
